Each year, The WICT Network and its chapters offer fellowships to offset registration and travel expenses for the annual WICT Network Conference. We're thrilled to announce three winners from The WICT Network: Southeast who will attend the 2025 conference in New York City.

Congratulations to Shannon Andrews for winning the Laurel Lawson Fellowship from The WICT Network Global!
The Laurel Lawson Fellowship gives Shannon the opportunity to attend this year’s Leadership Conference free of charge and is awarded by The WICT Network’s global organization to one deserving individual in the media, entertainment and technology industry with a demonstrated disability.
As a results-driven leader with over eight years of experience in product management, business intelligence and data analysis, I am particularly keen on leveraging the Leadership Conference to refine and expand my strategic leadership capabilities. While my background has a proven track record of driving financial growth, improving operational efficiency and fostering collaborative relationships, I aim to gain deeper insights into cutting-edge leadership methodologies and adaptive strategies for an increasingly dynamic business landscape.

Congratulations to Jennifer Porterfield for winning The WICT Network: Southeast Fellowship to attend this year’s Leadership Conference!
The recipient of The WICT Network: Southeast Fellowship is selected based on the candidates’ ability to demonstrate how the WICT Network Leadership Conference will help them gain new leadership skills and enhance their range or level of expertise.

Congratulations to Lynnette Smith for winning the Dana B. Dawson Fellowship to attend this year’s Leadership Conference!
The recipient of the Dana B. Dawson Fellowship, created in memory of a much loved and missed former board member of The WICT Network: Southeast, is selected based in part on the applicant’s ability to demonstrate how The WICT Network Leadership Conference will help them gain new leadership skills to be applied to their passion for promoting and supporting other women through volunteerism.
For me, one of the most valuable parts of the conference is always the Chapter Leader Roundtable. I’m eager to meet with the chapter leaders from every region to share strengths, discuss challenges and collaborate on best practices for the year ahead.
