I am honored and excited to step into the role of President of The WICT Network Southeast. As we embark on this journey together, I want to emphasize my unwavering commitment to fostering connections, supporting and empowering each and every one of you.

CONNECT, one of The WICT Network Touchstones, is at the heart of my vision for 2025. By building strong, meaningful relationships, we can create a powerful community where ideas are shared, opportunities are created and every member feels valued and supported. My goal is to ensure that our network becomes a hub of collaboration and mutual growth. Recognizing that we all connect in different ways and with different intentions, The WICT Network: Southeast will provide multiple, diverse opportunities to make meaningful connections across all membership levels, sponsors, volunteers and communities.

It’s a challenging time across our industries, with many of our members, including myself, facing potentially life-altering career changes. One of my goals for 2025 is to offer intentional and targeted support—resources, events and more—to members in career transitions, whether forced or intentional. Together, we can navigate these changes and emerge stronger, leveraging our collective strength and resilience.

Expanding the recruitment and utilization of volunteers from our membership footprint is also a key element of my vision for 2025. Volunteering not only strengthens our community but also provides valuable personal and professional growth opportunities for our members. Within the coming weeks, you, our members, will have the opportunity to indicate your interest in volunteer opportunities for the year. 

Continuing and expanding our collaboration with other organizations to maximize efforts and impacts will be a key focus this year. By joining forces, we can leverage our collective strengths to create more impactful programs and initiatives that benefit all our members.

We will continue to offer high-quality, diverse and inclusive leadership training and development programming to enhance The WICT Network experience for our members. Similarly, we will look to maintain and expand our partnerships, emphasizing member and corporate benefits.

I am deeply passionate about supporting and empowering women in our industry and am committed to providing the resources, mentorship and opportunities needed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Together, we will work to break down barriers, celebrate our successes and lift each other up.
