Founded 40 years ago, the WICT Network has grown to be the largest organization of its kind, with 24 domestic and international chapters that provide local access to educational opportunities, professional development, and networking for its thousands of members, supporting women in media, entertainment, and technology.
The WICT Network Southeast was established in 1980 and is one of the largest chapters at nearly 800 members.
Our footprint includes Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Members are concentrated in Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville, Birmingham, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge.
Our members come from a wide range of companies including cable and content creators, and multi-faceted media, entertainment and technology companies, that provide a wide range of services to businesses and consumers.
Our mission is to create women leaders that transform the industries we represent and serve. We do this by providing unparalleled professional development programs, mentoring programs, and a mentoring network that helps advance women.
Our Partners are vital in helping us provide a unique peer-to-peer and business-to-business network like no other. Our member resources, educational and networking events, and commitment to mental health and diversity awareness programs helps ensure we are market leaders.

What We Are Excited About in 2026

Our members are excited about the new possibilities with AI and all the latest apps and tools available today to help us network and do our jobs more efficiently.
