Hope Atlanta: July 2025 Volunteering Event

“On behalf of Hope Atlanta, Carla, and the guests served at the Community Outreach Kitchen, thank you and the WICT Southeast group for volunteering! Yesterday, your dynamic group of 12 gave 39 hours to serve 97 neighbors (32 women, 23 children, 7 visitors at Client Intake, 35 residents at The Melody).

Our kitchen is donor fed, and volunteer led, and it is because of WICT's support of Hope Atlanta's mission at work, we can continue to help individuals and families on their path to self-sufficiency. I loved that you took your previous volunteer experience with Hope and introduced us it to another group within your personal community. We appreciate you for being an advocate of Hope!”

Recently , The WICT Network: Southeast came together to serve with heart and intention at Hope Atlanta, each encounter a reminder of the power of compassion and community.  What made this experience even more meaningful? Being part of Hope Atlanta’s 125th anniversary—a legacy of helping individuals and families find stability, dignity, and a path to self-sufficiency. Honored to play a small role in such a big mission. 💛
